DANCE CATEGORIES
The Iceland Dance Festival Open dance categories includes both multi-dance Championship and Single dances.
The following age groups are allowed to compete “one level up”:
- 7 and under
- Pre-teen/Juvenile – Under 10 (8-9 year)
- Pre-teen/Juvenile – Under 12 (10-11 year)*
- Junior 1 (12-13 year)
- Junior 2 (14-15 year)
- Youth (16-18 year)
- Under 21 year
* Pre-teen/Juvenile (10-11 year) are allowed to compete in Junior 1 (12-13 year)
Please notice that more dance categories may be added later.

- Age 18-35
- Age 35-50
- Age 51-60
- Senior 1: 61-70
- Senior 2: 71-80
